Art Walk & Installation Day!

The Red Chair Studios has had a lot of activity our visiting artist Leslie Holt came to visit from October 4th to 11th. During that time we stayed busy placing Neuro Blooms up and down Cherokee street, having workshops and enjoying Leslie’s company. On Saturday October 8th Cherokee street had an art walk. To prepare for the art walk Con and Leslie took all the art that was created in the CAT workshop and the Peter and Paul group and hung it in the windows of the Red Chair Studios. Abby and Bonita spent time making more art and wrapping up things around the studio for the art walk.

We Thought about things that brought us hope and comfort and stitched imaged on to pieces of painted canvas. Each piece is a unique work of art.

Many people stopped by the Studio to Meet Leslie and talk to her about the Neuro Blooms and the art in the windows. There were people who knew Leslie from when she lived here in St. Louis and it was exciting to meet so many people from the community.
