Wrapping up our time

It is coming to the time where we must say goodbye as will be leaving the red Chair Studios. The time we have had was engaging and productive. We met new people and learned about working with a community group. Con is a dynamic community leader and works with many different artists to bring awareness to many topics of interest. While we were at Red Chair Studios Con helped an artist named Leslie Holt bring awareness to mental health by installing Leslie’s Neuro Blooms in the windows of many shops along Cherokee Street. Through this project we engaged with other artists many of which were trained to do community work through the Regional Arts Commission (RAC) of St Louis. We also met some great guys while working with a group at the Garfield commons part of the Peter and Paul community. We also enjoyed setting up a table on Halloween where we got to engage with the children of the area. It was so nice to be a part of such a great community with its warm and friendly people.
